Utobras Nigeria Limited is duly incorporated Limited Liability Company under the provisions of The Companies and Allied Matters Act 1990 with its head office at 78 Murtala Muhammed Way. Ebutc Meta, Lagos. The Company operates in association with Utobras Commercial Import and Export Limited which has its head office in Sao polo Brazil. This collaboration is aimed at providing efficient and timely services to our clients in Nigeria and a provision of the necessary spare parts and components of our products.
This relationship also eliminates the problems caused by language barriers between Nigeria and Brazil since the two companies function as companies within the same group and with a common purpose. This relationship has grown from strength to strength within the past fifteen years.
The main line of business of Utobras limited is the sale of commercial vehicles and spare parts in Nigeria. The company has recently moved into export of MIB armoured trucks for cash movements within major cities in Nigeria. Utobrass has over the years built up tremendous goodwill, image and reputation for high performance which has given them good quality clients in the countries they do business with, such as First Bank of Nigeria Pic. Utobras Nigeria Limited in collaboration with Utobras Company Import and Export Limited introduced Marcopolo Bus model into the Nigeria market in 1989. Marcopolo buses which have Mercedes Bcnz engines were built in Brazil and imported into Nigeria through combined marketing effort of Utobras Nigeria and Utobras Brazil. These two companies did so well that between 1989 and 1991 they sold a total of 100 Marcopolo buses in Nigeria notwithstanding the tight luxurious bus market in the country at that time. This thriving business was however slowed down when Mercedes Benz representatives taking dealership with Marcopolo though not official and favourable to Marcopoio the supply of Chassis builder to bus body building.
Utobras took up sole representative of Comil bus builders and Autolifc Armoured builder in Brazil, imported 20 Armoured trucks for Cash-In-Transit operation; We have certificate with Central Bank of Nigeria for Cash In transit movement. and have sold over 500 Comil buses in Nigeria.
The company also has exclusive right to represent Brazilian manufacturers of armoured trucks - MIB Armoured builder (Manufacturers of Armoured trucks for cash and valuable for Banks operation)
